Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 as well as White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns to CNN from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaigns Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack Both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. From 2005 to 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. In the year 2000, Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. [20] She was hired by the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30,2014. In 2015, she returned to the White House as communications director and remained until the close of the Obama administration.
